Milan, Italy –Pet Care Group, the company behind the Integropet brand, has completed a strategic transaction with Giellepi, a Seregno-based firm specializing in raw materials for the nutraceutical industry, which will invest in the company’s capital. The operation lays the groundwork for a long-term industrial partnership between the Terruzzi family, owners of Giellepi, and Francesco Bellio, founder of Integropet.
Pet Care Group was assisted throughout the process by VCF Group, which acted as exclusive financial advisor. The advisory team was led by Nicolò Venturi, CEO of VCF Group, and Nicola Verzura, who oversaw the financial structuring of the deal. Legal aspects were handled by Francesco Pezcoller.
According to sources close to the transaction, the partnership is designed to strengthen Integropet’s proprietary e-commerce platform for natural supplements and probiotics aimed at the wellbeing of dogs and cats, while opening new growth avenues through retail and pharmacy channels, supported by veterinary medical expertise. The deal combines Giellepi’s formulation know-how, built over years in the human supplement industry, with Integropet’s digital commercial infrastructure developed since its founding.
The transaction was announced as part of a broader wave of consolidation in the pet care and nutraceutical sectors, where strategic investors are increasingly seeking partnerships that bridge ingredient innovation with consumer-facing distribution capabilities.
VCF Group is the Italian member of ACS Partners, an international network of independent corporate finance advisory firms operating across Europe and beyond.
